Students in the 5/6 and 7/8 Communities participate in at least one overnight fieldwork trip per year. The 5/6 Community trip is one night and the 7/8 Community is usually at least two nights.
Overnight fieldwork gives teachers an opportunity to extend in-depth learning activities across multiple days. This helps the students be able to go deeper in their learning and to bond together as a crew.??
